Changes To Chess In The New World Order
Authorities at the World Chess Forum (WCF) have announced plans to change the way Chess is played. The following updates will go into effect by the year 2030:
All chessboards will be connected to a wireless control grid. Players will move their pieces telekinetically using implants inside their brains.
Each player must consult a panel of experts before making a move. If nine out of ten experts approve of the move, then the player may proceed.
To improve diversity, the white side of the board will include several black figureheads representing white interests.
King and queen will merge together to form one all-powerful, non-binary ruler.
Bishops will be replaced with “scientific advisors.”
A two square social distancing rule shall be strictly enforced.
Worthless pawns may be sacrificed, but elite figures may not.
At any point during the game, a “lockdown” may be declared. When this happens, neither player will be permitted to make a move, for up to two years.
The object of the game will be endless war. The first player to say “checkmate” loses.
Rules may be revised periodically to suit the goals and interests of the World Chess Forum.
