U.S. NEWS — Over twenty Big Food Manufacturers, including Kellogg, Kraft and General Mills, have filed a class action lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services, claiming the agency is prejudiced against foods of color.
The lawsuit came shortly after the department chair Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. effectively banned “toxic dyes” in cereals and other packaged foods. Kennedy was taken aback by the suit as the food executives had sounded amiable and cooperative in a closed-door meeting just a couple weeks prior.
Kraft-Heinz CEO Carlos Abrams-Rivera called out the Health Chair on X, labeling him an “enemy of Dietary Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.” Kellogg CEO Steve Cahillane joined in, adding that “it’s vital that all colors are represented in our food: red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, pink, cyan, magenta, as well as neon, glow-in-the-dark versions of each.”
Kennedy responded to the accusations by saying “I’m not anti-color, I just want our food to be safe.” But the statement only prompted further criticism from his opponents. “So you think ‘colored’ food is more dangerous?” a spokesperson for Gerber fired back. “This is exactly the kind of ignorance we don’t want to feed our kids!”
Kennedy will appear in court next week to challenge the claim against his department. In the meantime, he has received scores of threats as well as terror attacks carried out on his personal food supply. Just last night, a group of activists broke into Kennedy’s kitchen and colored his snacks using spray cans, while another group hurled Fruit Loops through his window. Several others mailed letters to his home, with the word “DYE!” written in Red 40.
Well done, Noel, well done! Foods of color, rise up!
A new day is upon us my friends! Fruit Loops, Frosted Strawberry Puffs, and Frankenberries lost the Election. Bruce Gender is no longer on the Wheaties cover. Rejoice in your victory. DEI is DOA. BTW, I like chocolate AND cinnamon rings!
