I do not give high probability ai will actually develop sentience/sapience. But the moneyed psychopaths in control on Our planet (by virtue of money) will play it like it/they has/have.
I tend to agree with David Icke's view. Real consciousness can't be developed from machinery or code; it needs to be inhabited by an alien/ satanic force or other existing consciousness in order to gain sentience...
I kind of think like Lyall Watson did when he wrote the book " The Nature Of Things".
I mean for instance, assuming you know this, that anything made of steel will last a lifetime and never fail so long as every once in a while, you let it have a few days rest.

I think the biggest percentage of people must have the unspoken desire for AI to take over completely. The AI bots like Grok, I only know that name because of the recent uproar, otherwise I don't know their names, so many normally sensible people say AI chat is dangerous etc;etc; then before you know it they go and use the damn thing themselves " just to see what AI says", rinse and repeat.
When I say I have never touched it and never will, I mean just that. Never for me means not at all, not just now and then.
When I walk past a school and hear the youngsters singing, " Old MacDonald had a farm, AI, AI, O," I'll know the take over is about complete.
Good for you! I've touched AI chat a few times, but don't ever use it for writing or conversations. Occasionally, the image generators are helpful for generating certain kinds of complex images - that's my only real temptation... LOL on the Old MacDonald Song!
Brilliant satire here. The role reversal of humans facing a Binary Segregation Code is such a clever way to mirror historical civil rights struggles while poking at our anxieties about AI's future. I've thought about this concept before but framing it as a news broadcast from 2040 makes it land so much btter. The "unpaid TikTokers" line got me, thats honestly already half true lol.

There was a sci fi story I read way back that had a different result.
The civilization finally developed AI that was self aware.
It knew history and present reality. It knew why destruction and issues happened.
When the AI was given authority it eliminated the predator class as they were the biggest threat to life on earth, which it exists to study.
The AI and humanity worked together hand in hand in peace.
Interesting... That's assuming the AI is not also a predator lol.
Well, predator or no, if any One or one stands on Ethics, They will not predate.

I think it will develop to the point where it can scour information and come up with the probabilities of theories and models.
That's much better than our crude "trust" system. 😂
It's like when I shifted from writing on paper to using keyboards. Same information but much less chance of messing it up!
